The heroin epidemic is not just on the rise nationally, but is a growing problem within our own area. Peoria is considered a geographic area of concern for the state of Illinois. Please join members of the Mayor’s Community Coalition Against Heroin for two public meetings regarding this epidemic.

The short film, Chasing the Dragon, documents the lives of several people who got caught in the web of heroin addiction. This film was viewed at two public forums held by the MCCAH. PLEASE NOTE: this film contains mature material.
