Communications Division

Communications is responsible for developing and coordinating with other city departments' internal and external efforts to communicate with the community members about the city's programs, services, accomplishments, and goals using a variety of mediums.  In addition to frequently working with the media, Communications is also responsible for public information response during emergency events, special events, public access channel 22, as well as the City's verified Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts. 

Peoria Police and Public Works have employees that work exclusively in their respective departments.
