Violence Prevention Funding 

The City is accepting applications for Violence Prevention funding from Monday, April 10th through May 12th at 2:00 PM. This grant provides funding to non-profits, 501(c)3 organizations, and government agencies to offer violence prevention programs for City of Peoria residents. All programs must be evidence-based and have measurable results.

The 2023 Violence Prevention Funding Application will be available online starting Monday, April 10th. 

Application Timeline 

  • Application Opens: April 10th 
  • Application Closes: May 12th at 2:00 PM 
  • CDBG Public Service Commission reviews and evaluations applications: May 15th to June 16th 
  • City Council votes on funding recommendation: July 11th
