(PEORIA, IL) Monday, February 6, 2023, at approximately 10:18 p.m. Peoria Police responded to the 200 block of SW Jefferson regarding an Armed Robbery. When officers arrived, they located an adult female victim who told police she was approached by a male suspect who was armed with a handgun. The victim also told officers that the suspect took some of her personal items and fled the scene. The victim was not injured. Officers with the assistance of a PPD K-9 conducted a search of the area for the suspect with negative results. This incident is under investigation. Currently there is no suspect information.
