(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at approximately 8:23 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of N. Underhill on a report of an Armed Vehicular Hijacking.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male who told police a male suspect armed with a handgun entered his vehicle while he was sitting inside. The suspect told the driver to exit the vehicle. The suspect then fled the area in the stolen
vehicle. The victim was not injured.
This incident is under investigation. There is currently no suspect information.
