(PEORIA, IL) Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at approximately 5:53 p.m. members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID) and Patrol Unit located a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Green Street.
Officers conducted a felony traffic stop on the vehicle at Green and Adams. Three occupants inside the vehicle were detained. The driver identified as 33-year-old Robert L. Wesley was taken into custody without
incident and subsequently arrested
for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
Wesley was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
