Earth Day is April 22, and for the entire month of April, the City of Peoria will be encouraging its residents to support Earth Day by helping to get all residents recycling.

This year is the 53rd celebration of Earth Day. To honor that the City has set a goal to get a minimum of 53 new recycling cart sign-ups before the end of April. If you already have a recycling cart, we encourage you to contact your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members to ensure they are also recycling. All City of Peoria residents who are on the City’s trash program are eligible for a recycling cart at no additional cost.
