[ARCHIVED] 6/1/23 Cannabis Trafficking, UUW X 2

(PEORIA, IL) Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at approximately 6:09 p.m. members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID) conducted multiple traffic stops on vehicles suspected of drug trafficking after leaving the area of 4600 N. Woodview Avenue.
During one of the traffic stops officers located and seized large quantities of illegal drugs and a large amount of currency. 
21-year-old Jacob L. Fuller was subsequently arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Cannabis, and Delivery of Cannabis. Fuller was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
After further investigation, SID Officers was able to secure a search warrant for a residence in the 4600 block of N. Woodview.
During a search of the residence officers located an AR Style Pistol, Machine Gun Device “switch”, large quantities of illegal drugs and a large amount of currency.
Two subjects, identified as 20-year-old Branden N. Heid and 21-year-old Morgan K. Wiedeman, were taken into custody as a result of this investigation.
Heid was subsequently arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver, Delivery of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis, Possession of a Firearm (2 counts) Possession of a Machine Gun and Armed Violence.
Wiedeman was subsequently arrested for Armed Violence, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver, Delivery of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis, Possession of a Firearm (2 counts), and Possession of a Machine Gun.
Both Heid and Wiedeman were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
This incident remains under investigation.
