(PEORIA, IL) Friday, June 2, 2023, at approximately 7:36 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Marengo regarding an Armed Robbery.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male who told officers he was approached by an unknown male who pointed a handgun at him and stole some personal items. The victim was not injured.
The
suspect then fled the area on foot.
Officers conducted a search of the area for the suspect with negative results.
This incident is under investigation.
