Beginning on Monday, June 12, W Aiken Avenue will close to all traffic between S Webster Street and S Charlton Street. This closure is part of the Year 2 Combined Sewer Overflow Control Project and is expected to last through mid-August, weather permitting. Aiken Avenue will be reconstructed with permeable pavement.
Motorists should use W Adrian G. Hinton Avenue as a detour. Drivers should use caution in the area and watch for “Road Closed Ahead” signs.
