(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at approximately 7:09 p.m. members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID) located a vehicle associated with a wanted subject in the 1600 block of N. Knoxville.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives observed the subject identified as 30-year-old Tyron C. Nunn enter the vehicle and drive away.
Officers observed the vehicle come to a stop at the above location. Detectives immediately approached the vehicle and placed Nunn into custody without incident.
Nunn was transported to the Peoria Police Department for interviewing purposes and subsequently arrested for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Criminal Damage to Property, Possession of a Firearm without a Valid FOID Card, and Domestic Battery.
Nunn was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
