Prairie State Legal and City of Peoria Hosted a Virtual Renter Education Presentation

On Tuesday, December 20, at 12:00 PM, Prairie State Legal Services and staff from the Community Development Department will host a 30-minute informational session entitled, “Resources for Residents/Know Your Rights.  Topics will include understanding the renter’s obligations, common eviction notices, month-to-month leases, and the difference between a “Notice to Vacate” and an “Eviction”. 

This virtual meeting will be held on GoToMeeting on Tuesday, December 20th at 12:00 PM. Interested parties may join the meeting in two ways:

A recording of the meeting will be posted on the city of Peoria's YouTube channel later this week.  

Time will be allowed for questions at the conclusion of the presentation.  Staff from Prairie State Legal Services cannot offer legal advice during the Virtual Renter Education Presentation.
