(PEORIA, IL) Monday, August 14, 2023, at approximately 12:36 p.m. Peoria Police responded to the corner of Antoinette and Warren on a Shot Spotter alert of 18 rounds fired.
When officers arrived, they did not locate a victim or suspects.
A
short time later officers learned that an adult male was transported to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID), Criminal Investigations Division (CID), and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
Currently, there is no suspect information. This incident is under investigation.
