(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, January 29, 2023, at approximately 9:05 p.m. Peoria Police responded to a call regarding an armed vehicle hijacking that occurred in the 200 block of W. McClure.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male victim who told officers he and his family were arriving home when they were approached by 3 male suspects who demanded the victim and his family exit the vehicle. One of the suspects was armed with a
handgun.
The suspects drove away heading west bound in the stolen vehicle. No one was injured.
This incident is under investigation.
