(PEORIA, IL) On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of W. Wiswall regarding a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located an adult female victim with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID), Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), Patrol Unit and a PPD K-9 responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
This incident is currently under investigation. There is no suspect information.
