General Liability Claims
To file a claim with the City of Peoria for a car accident, pothole, slip-and-fall, or personal injury, contact a Third-Party Administrator. They manage those claims. That company is Gallagher Bassett. They will review your claim and determine liability under the Illinois Tort Immunity Act. Once that process is complete, GB will reach out to you by phone or email with the status of your claim. They will then send you a follow-up letter with the decision. Filing a claim does not guarantee the City will accept liability for this matter.
