Occupation: Vance Jordan, a senior designer at Farnsworth Group, designs heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems for commercial buildings. He evaluates a building’s design and selects where heating and cooling equipment should be placed.
Community Involvement: He is a former volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Heart of Illinois United Way fundraising campaign and a former member of the National Society for Black Engineers.
