Assistant Curator and Community Engagement Coordinator, Peoria Riverfront Museum
Occupation: Everley Davis is assistant curator and community engagement coordinator at Peoria Riverfront Museum. As an assistant curator, she helps with the story-telling aspect of museum exhibits. In her role as community engagement coordinator, she organizes events and activities to promote attendance and create positive relationships between the community and the museum. She also serves as chief advisor for the museum’s Every Student Initiative (ESI), which sponsors free, curriculum-based visits for central Illinois students.
Community Involvement: Ms. Davis serves on the board of ArtsPartners of Central Illinois and is chairwoman of ArtsPartners’ Sky Art Peoria committee. She is also a founder and former volunteer for Peoria Grown, a not-for-profit group that provides healthy food and health education in under-served neighborhoods.
Education: Bachelor of Arts, Spanish, sociology and religious studies, Bradley University
