Operations Team Lead, FMLA Claims
Occupation: Carita Bright leads an operations team at ComPsych Corp. that reviews, approves, processes and tracks employee absences and requests for time off under the U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Her duties include providing regular feedback to claims specialists, training new hires and providing on-going training for current team members. ComPsych, the world’s largest provider of employee assistance programs, administers FMLA requests and employee benefits for other employers.
Community Involvement: Ms. Bright is chairwoman of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Committee and a member of Northmoor Primary School’s Parent-Teacher Organization. She has served as a mentor and leader for a variety of college and career-readiness initiatives.
Education: Bachelor of general studies, liberal arts and sciences, Northern Illinois University; master of business administration, University of Illinois-Springfield, with graduate certification in human resources management and personnel administration
