Occupation: Aaron Gunn is associate managing principal of IDG+ Architects Inc., a full-service architectural firm. He has monitored construction, from start to finish, on projects such as the Ernest Gaines Fire Station, Peoria High School’s music studio and the South Side Mission Thrift Store. His responsibilities include project coordination, construction administration and business development.
Community Involvement: Mr. Gunn serves on the board of commissioners of the Metropolitan Airport Authority of Peoria, which owns and operates Gen. Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport. He is co-chairman of the Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce Contracting and Construction Committee, a board member of Peoria PAC and a volunteer for Peoria Public Schools Foundation’s Horizons Program.
