Occupation: Brittany Strickland is vice president community manager of JP Morgan Chase. Her primary responsibility is to increase awareness about free resources the financial services firm offers to community organizations and small businesses in central Illinois. She builds and nurtures relationships between agencies, businesses and community leaders in a variety of ways, including conducting on-site financial literacy seminars on credit, budgeting, home loans, cybersecurity or investing.
Community Involvement: Ms. Strickland is a co-founder Refuge Morning Women Support Group, a member of the City of Peoria’s Fair Employment Commission and a board member of the Neighborhood House. She also serves of the WCBU Advisory Board and as a lead teacher for the teen ministry at St. Paul Baptist Church. She is a graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership School and a former president of the parent-teacher organization of Valeska Hinton Early Childhood Education Center.
