Strategic Plan 2023 Process

On April 14, the City Council approved the contract with Berry Dunn McNeil & Parker, LLC, to develop a new Strategic Plan for the city. The Strategic Plan will serve as a road map, guiding decisions about the city’s future for the next five years. The Plan establishes a clear vision and mission statement, and priorities. It sets measurable goals and action steps and lays out the desired impact and value added to the community.

Community Strategic Plan Kickoff Event

Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2 
Morning Sessions: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 
Afternoon Sessions: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Seeking Community Small Group Facilitators 

Community small group facilitators will work together to create a space to support the community outreach for the City’s strategic planning process by attending and leading the discussions. They encourage full participation, promote mutual understanding, foster inclusive solutions, and support a shared vision for the city of Peoria. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
