Fragility of Democracy
Incubation of Democracy
Biography
I am a private person who lives in rural America and has my studio practice in Peoria’s Warehouse District. The contrast between rural and city suits my need for calm and grit like my art making practice I have a need for contrast.
Much of my work is illustrative in nature. I prefer using charcoal in my mark making practice while introducing mixed mediums.
I’m currently working on pieces focused on domestic and global affairs.
My degrees are from The American Academy of Art Chicago and Illinois State University College of Fine Arts.

Fragility of Democracy
We take our Democracy for granted as well as our Constitution. I ask the question: “Without our Constitution, do we have a Democracy?”
Incubation of Democracy
We take our Democracy for granted yet we are finding our Democracy to be malleable. Hopefully in the process of growth or in the state of incubation.
