Biography
Jody Tockes is a native Peorian, who currently lives in East Peoria. She and her husband Rick have had their art studio, The Hive, in Peoria since 2013. She is a retired teacher, wife, mother, and grandmother, besides being an artist. She works with a variety of ages and abilities at her studio when she is not creating her own art. Through their studio, Tockes and her husband Rick also have a gardening and art program called BeautifulGIFT to inspire others to garden and be inspired to create art and writing related to their gardening experience.
Artist Statement
SPIRES - "Say Prayerful Intentions Regarding Everyone Suffering". Seeing spires reminds me to pray for those suffering.
