Biography
As a wildlife, nature, and travel photographer based in Peoria, my pictures tend to focus on bringing the beauty of Peoria to the world (including Peoria, which often doesn’t seem to appreciate what it has), and the world to Peoria. My inability to stay focused means I also dabble in urban & street, astro & solar, and macro photography. Pretty much whatever captures my fancy. I hope I can bring a greater awareness and appreciation of the beauty that can be found anywhere, from our backyards to our wild spaces, and around the world.
Artist Statement
Lincoln, as portrayed in Abraham Blue 2023 (Doug Leunig, artist), is keeping an eye over downtown Peoria, where the old and new meet at the river.
