Biography

The Inspiring Abilities Art Program is a creative initiative of the Community Workshop & Training Center (CWTC), a nonprofit organization based in Peoria, Illinois. The program provides adults with disabilities opportunities to explore visual art as a form of self-expression, skill development, and community engagement. Participants work across a variety of mediums, including painting and mixed media, while learning foundational concepts such as color, composition, and design. The program emphasizes inclusion, confidence-building, and meaningful participation in the local arts community. Through public art projects and exhibitions, the Inspiring Abilities Art Program’s goal is to continue expanding opportunities for individuals to express themselves artistically while fostering a vibrant and inclusive cultural scene in shared community spaces.
